Brief Description: Removed Wing from Jig - Leading Edge Laminate Prep
I had a few friends over to help me lift the wing out of the jig. I wanted to place the wing vertically, leading edge up, to do the final ply on the leading edge. After three plys on the leading edge I had a little bit of a valley between the lower edge laminate edge and the leading edge recess. I mixed up some Qcell and filled the valley. I will then sand it smooth and put on the last ply.
The wing had not been out of the jig in twenty years so the bottom surface had some clean up to be done. I also had to clean off the bondo that I used to bond the lower wing skin to the wing jig. I spent about 1.5 hours cleaning up the bottom surface of the wing
