Taking care of a few details prior to closing the wing. I Q-Cell sealed all of the pushrod clearance holes, brake line holes, and hydraulic line holes. I will sand this out tomorrow. I also drilled out the rivets on the lower LE wing skin hinges. I replaced the rivets with screw type clecos that can be removed after bonding the wing skins on.
Dace Kirk (Phoenix Composites) and Heath (new owner- now Performance Aero) came over this morning and gave the wing a final once over. We are going to close it on Monday (finally)! I am going to have Dace, Heath, and two of their guys assist. I will also have three buddies helping for a total of eight people.
