Trimmed the rear spar caps flush with the aft spar face. I used my Fien tool to trim, to protect the aft spar face I used a piece of scrap aluminum to guide the tool (see photo). After trimming a couple passes with my permagrit blocks flushed the capstrip with the aft spar face. The forward edges were trimmed and sanded same as the rib and false spar capstrips.
Added single ply sealing laminates over the mounded up mill fiber mounds that were formed around the fuel tank vent fittings. I sanded the mill fiber smooth before adding the laminates. The BID was free hand cut into donuts and placed over the fittings, then wetted out
The LH wing panel requires a two ply precured doubler on the root end. The laminate will tie the LH and RH wing panels together on wing close. The precured strip was bonded to the LH panel using a mill fiber mix. A thorough prep sanding was accomplished prior to bonding.
