Brief Description: Checked Landing Gear Alignment - Fit
Began checking the landing gear installation for proper alignment. I checked the gear against each other for toe in. I used four foot levels and clamped them to the half forks then I measured the distance between the levels. My initial measurements look like the gear are good for toe-in. I know need to check it for perpendicularity to the main spar.
I also made a circle guide for my dremel router. My plan is to use it to cut out my wing inspection covers. The guide is just a piece of 1/4 inch plywood with a hole cut for the router base with a tongue attached. I will drill holes in the tongue corresponding to the desired cut radii and use it to pivot around a center pin. We shall see if it works
