Brief Description: LH Landing Gear Trunion Mount, Nutplate Retainer B
I sanded down the LH rear trunion mount (laminates done yesterday) until I got the desired fit of the landing gear trunion. I then confirmed that I could put in all eight bolts into the trunion and the nutplates. I then decided to rework the RH side rear trunion a little. There were a second set of holes in the area that were filled with something other than mill fiber. I ground out the mystery filler and replaced it with mill fiber. This required removing the nutplate retainer that I had previously bonded on. After the mill fiber cured I I sanded it all flush, checked the landing gear fit for the last time, installed all the bolts to check for fit and bonded on the nut plate retainers (three total, two for the LH and one for the RH).
