The landing gear installation was started by a previous builder. On the LH side had some mystery filler on the fwd and aft landing gear partial spars on the landing gear trunion mount pads. I decided that the filler was not the right answer in this location. I sanded out the filler on the forward spar and added four plys on bid in its place. I will adjust the fit of the gear by sanding into the additional laminates as required. After the fit is proper I will sand out the filler on the aft partial spar and add plys to fill the gap.
