I decided to fair the edges of the three plys in preparation for the third ply. Essentially I just feathered the laminate edges into the recess. This should make the forth ply lay down really nicely and minimize the amount of filler that will need to be used to contour the leading edge of the wing. I also go ready to remove the wing from the jig. This involved breaking the bondo to wing skin bond that I used on the outer two wing jig saddles. I did this by unscrewing the saddles from the jig and cracking them away from the wing skin.
