I remove the LH upper wing skin to separate the capstrips from the wing skin. Most of them looked great. Unfortunately three of the nose rib capstrips did not separate and remained attached to the upper wing skin. The glue was still a little green as the temperature have been low and I mixed the cabosil close to .75%.
I applied Q-cell radii to all the capstrips and false spars in preparation for the two ply laminates that will tie the sides of the ribs to the capstrips.
After that was complete reprepped the nose ribs and capstrips for another gluing attempt. I applied a new batch of cabosil to the three nose ribs mixed at 1.25% and refitted and weighted down the LH upper wing skin AGAIN.
Jill helped me by mixing Q-Cell and cutting BID tapes for tomorrow's capstrip laminates (and keeping me company)!
