Strarted doing the rib to capstrip layups. There will be a total of two plys on each side of each rib. This will make a total of 4 ply thickness for each capstrip. I completed one ply on all the ribs today. It took much longer than I thought it would. Mostly I used dry cloth layed into strips of resin applied to the ribs and capstrips. In some cases I wetted out the the tapes first where the access was particuliarly difficult. The false spars in the gearbox area fell into this category. I am also extending these layups up under the main spar cap to tie the capstrips to the main spar. I used a q-cell transistion 'bridge' to support the laminates. I will resume tomorrow night with the final layups.
