I final fit the wing tip ribs to the upper wing skin. I used a scrap two ply laminate with 80 grit sandpaper spray gluded to it to sand the rib to shape. I sandwiched the sanding tool between the upper wing skin and the rib. This resulted in the proper gap for the rib cap I will be fabricating later. Laminated the wing tip ribs into position. Each rib has a two ply laminate on each side of the rib. I made a laminate pattern using my original rib template as a starting point. I layed up each two pyl laminate on foil on the bench. I then place foil over the wetted out laminate making a foil laminate foil sandwich. I then cut the pattern out of the foil sandwich. This keeps the laminate together while it is placed on the tip rib foam. I used 90 gram batches of resin for each laminate (four total). The foil trick worked well.
