Brief Description:  Gear Door #1 Fabrication

I final trimmed the gear door number one blanks using the wing cutouts as a guide. I am going to lay up the doors in position on the wing. I am going to use a piece of 1/8 inch MDF to form up againd the lower wing skin to give the doors the proper curve. I cut two rails per wing of 3/4 inch MDF about 1.5 inches wide. I cut 1/8 inch recesses into the rails to hold the MDF sheet in position against the wing skin. Photos will clarify later. This will allow me to place the gear doors into position and then slide the MDF sheet into position. I bondoed the rails onto the lower wing skin.
