Brief Description: 2 Ply Pre-Cure for lower fuselage bulkhead
Another 2 ply lay-up. I have learned that when using peel ply the peel ply must be fully wet out just like a layer of glass of things will not look good. I have made beautiful looking lay-ups and then placed the last piece of peel ply on top and have it mess things up due to not adding enough resin on top of the peel ply. My conclusion on this is that it takes more resin when using peel ply. The finished lay-up may not be heavier but just dealing with the peel ply means more resin to mix even it it eventually gets squeegied off.
