Brief Description: Modification of flap torque rod ends, nose gear do
I am installing the electric flap option but using the plain original style wing flaps. This combination requires that the flap torque rod control horns be shortened. These are welded up steel pieces. I carefully marked the new holes and trim lines on the part after hitting them with some dye-chem. I completed the drilling and marking but am still working on trimming them to shape.
While I was in the shop I also drilled the nose gear door spring attachment plate. This was drilled per instructions on the mill at work.
