Brief Description: Flap, Aileron, Rudder Hinge Back-Up Plates
Cut backup plates for the flap (4), aileron (4), and rudder hinge (2) rivets. These plates will be laminated into the control surface shear webs that will later be drilled for riveting in the the piano hinges. The backup plates were cut from 2024-T3 .025 thick sheet. The foot shear at work is a wonderful thing!
Also drilled out the pilot holes in the brake pedal pushrod linkages (4). I used the mill for this task. Deburred all holes, including those that I drilled yesterday on the brake pushrods and center rudder support.
