Sanded the LE of both upper flap panels to remove the mold bump and generally straighten the LEs. I then marked a reference line with pencil equal distance from the LE on the top surface of both upper flap panels (so they would be the same). I then fit the upper flap panel until I was happy with the fit. I then attached the upper panel to the lower panel with some dabs of hot glue. After the glue had set I removed the flap and trimed the upper panel TE to match the lower panel TE. I then sanded the TE flush with the lower panel.
