Brief Description: Flap Hinge Reinforcement Layups
I spent some time laying out the hinges and figuring out where the flap actuator fittings were going to end up. As per typical the instructions are pretty good! My flap skins are just barely long enough. I have early flaps and was following the later instructions which resulted in me trimming a little too much off of the aileron tip side. Live and learn. Anyway I think I am just barely going to be okay. The left hand flap is very close and may need a little extension added. After I was comfy with the locations. I made all the reinforcement layups on the RH flap, and added the aluminum reinforcement strips and one ply sealing laminates to both flaps.
