Brief Description:  Wing Tips and Seat Pans

Separated the seat pans from the layed up and bonded flanges. These look good. I was doubting that the four ply construction was going to be stiff enough. I was wrong. Once they are bonded to the existing seat pan flange they are pretty stout. I then broke the lower wing tips off of the wings after bonding the reinforcements on. I then started trying to fit the wing tip halves together. It is going to take so doing but they can actually be brought together somewhat better than I thought they would. I will leave the seam taped together hoping that they will take a set in the joined direction.

I then worked in the seat pan areas of the wing. I had lots of of little nibs and sharp fibers that needed cleaned up from the wing close process. Time spent today should help reduce the number of gotchas later when working on all the stuff that will get mounted in the pan areas. I also prep sanded the 'A' rib margins to accept a two ply laminate that will tie the A rib to the inside upper wing skin. This is the only rib that did not get a cap strip so it requires these laminates. The rest of the ribs and false spars were done using the Dace Kirk, Phoenix Composite cap strip method. I made a small Q-cell radius between the rib and the wing skin to provide a nice smooth shape to laminate to.

I did a bunch of other random stuff not worth mentioning and cleaned the shop up a little.
