Because of switching to the new airfoil, the outboard wing spars needed to be tapered to the dimensions of the airfoil at Station 120.75. Making one change (airfoil) ripples though other parts of the wing construction. So, using a hacksaw, cut out vertical pieces in forward wing spars. Using a sanding board softened up the T-88 and it was not hard to remove from the vertical pieces. Re-cut and fitted vertical pieces. Epoxied vertical pieces in place.
