Brief Description: Boot Cowl, Top and Left

Fit boot cowl top section to firewall, made a pattern for boot cowl left side section.
Now that the instrument panel flange is completed and attached, the boot cowl can be fit. I started by drilling the top section where it hits the firewall, so that it is locked into place. I used a 3" spacing, but due to the cuts for the vee tubes, I had to adjust a couple of the holes.
Then I made a cardboard template to fit the left side boot cowl section around the hinges and the upright tube. I started by cutting the cardboard to match the pre-cut cowl panels supplied in the kit. They are cut a little oversize for fitting and trimming. Once I had the template fit, I marked the cuts for the hinges onto the panel. I used round files to cut the slots to match.
After this I test fit this panel, and it was pretty good, but I need to cut the slots a little deeper so the panel can slide back a little and not leave a gap at the upright windshield tube.
