I installed the main landing gear on the fuselage.
After cleaning the bolt holes with some emory cloth so the bolts go through easily, it was truly a bolt-on operation. Everything fit very well. I lifted the fuselage with an engine hoist that is my all-around heavy-lifting helping-hand.
I had pre-adjusted the struts to be in mid-thread on the ball-ends, so with that and no load, the gear is kinda tucked up under the fuselage. There should be 72" between the wheel centerlines at empty weight. But that's a ways off yet, so adjustment will be later.
