Robert, Jay, Lawson, and Pete worked from 6:00-8:30 on the bottom cowl. We used tin snips for the long straight parts and a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel for anywhere there was a curve. We left a generous amount of material outside the scribe lines so the final owner can tweek and adjust the fit to their individual desires. We did cut enough away though to allow for clearance from the engine. Next week we will work on the top cowl. We want to make sure we get a good straight line for the cowl and where it meets the joggle on the bottom cowl. I also plan on taking some pictures next week so we can start to get it posted for sale.
