I finished hooking up the power leads between the APRS circuit board, the power supply, and the power connector. After applying Loc-Tite to the circuit board screws, I screwed the case closed, and now the APRS is pretty much ready to install. I'll probably test it in my car for a while before committing to an installation location in the airplane.
I also test-installed a return spring on one of the brake pedals, just to test the concept (see photo #2). Each unit is composed of:
1. A nylon collar (McMaster-Carr # 6389K625), 2. A 3" spring (# 9657K115), 3. A set-screw shaft-collar (# 9946K13).
I'll have to do some tests to see if I like the way the spring works.
APRS, mostly done. There's a ground wire missing between the circuit boards. It was installed later.
