Today I began prepping all the components of the rack for anodizong. I spent a lot of time deburring, sanding and cleaning the parts, and most of them are ready to go. I might drill a couple more mounting holes before I send them off.
I also finalized the method I'll use to mount the bottom rails to the floor. Thanks to some close quarters, it looks like I'll have to use two pairs of Cherry rivets. They will work just fine; I just won't be able to remove the rails as easy as I'd wanted to. (Not sure why I'd want to, but...)
