Install 3/16" nut plates to all flap hinge location on the trailing edge spar. place the nut plates on the forward side of the spar and secure with #40 aluminum rivets.
Tried to install the Trailing Edge Spar Root Fittings in both spars. After many trials and tribulations we discovered the spars were improperly indexed at the factory and were off a little. The Left spar was not off enough to need repair. However the right spar was off about 5.5 degrees
Called Ed at the Rans Factory. He checked it out and concurred and sent us a new spar fitting. this whole process took most of the day to determine.
