In order to install brakes I need to change the orientation of the bolt holding the brake & wheel pant brackets to the gear. The Matco brake caliper will only clear this bolt if the head is toward the rear of the plane.
Temporarily put u-bolt 'exhaust clamp' on gear leg in order to lift with a simple bottle jack.
Removed bolt, changed orientation and then torqued back down. Replace wheel and axle nut + cotter pin. Loosened brake disc from wheel. Inserted brake caliper assembly. Carefully slide brake pad behind brake disc and captured with bolt from caliper. Once first bolt is started it is easy to line up the rest as long as none of the spacer or bolts fall out.
