Brief Description: Right wing spar bottom flange nick

Document for inspection purposes. Slight damage to spar flange, located 3 bays from right wing root on bottom flange. Bucking bar slipped on rivet head causing a small nick on flange. Photo was emailed to VANs on May 13 with the following comments: Please see the attached photo. The bucking bar slipped while riveting the bottom skin creating a nick in the spar flange. The location is in the third bay from the wing root on the bottom flange of right wing. This is the only damage on the spar assembly. Please indicate what if anything you recommend to do here. Response from VANs: The only action required on this is to buff the area so you are able to pass a finger nail across without catching on any edges. Use scotch brite and spot prime after you buff.
