Brief Description: Fit and Drill Landing Gear Mount
Create WD-1021P Shims Draw Reference Lines on Mounts Install FWD floor with reference line. Temporary install of mounts ( beveled F-1004C to clear ).
NOTE: Left mount did not clear bottom skin hole very well. Some material was removed around this hole in order to give the mount proper clearance. Right mount did not have any issue, there is a small gap around mount. Left mount was also very tight at the shim.
Drill through forward brace mount plate into forward fuselage rib. Match drill through side skin into shim and mount. Remove mount, forward floor. Drill nutplate holes in forward rib for forward brace mount plate attach. Install nutplates for forward brace mount plate attach.
