Brief Description: Primer Test, Prime some VS parts

Setup paint booth. Setup HVLP gun, tested air pressure.
I am using the Stewarts Aero Systems EkoPrime so the process is as follows:
1.Clean part with EkoClean, rinse with water. 2. Apply EkoEtch and scour surface with red Scotch brite pad, rinse with water. 3. Let dry at least 1 hour.
The EkoPrime is thinned with 10% water. Mixed up a 2 oz. test batch, poured through a 70 mesh paint filter.
I am using a cheap Harbor Freight 6 CFM HVLP gun with 1.4mm tip. I have a screw type restrictor(regulator) with pressure gauge and a disposable water filter attached. I opened the air control on the gun all the way and adjust with the restrictor. I set the pressure to 45 PSI with the gun operating, will need to experiment with this.
Did some test spray patterns on paper. I played with the fan control and fluid control. The pattern looks how I expected, but not sure yet about the fluid rate.
After I played with test patterns I went ahead and sprayed some HS parts that I prepared. Shot a light tack coat first. This product seems to dry quite fast, so after a few minutes I shot a second coat. Results look good to my untrained eye. Since I had some primer left I went ahead and sprayed the inside of the HS skin.
