Brief Description: Baffle tension rods, air seal fabric
Fabricated the baffle tension rods. Cut to length first and fit to baffles and engine clearance by making bends in the rods at the appropriate spots. Once I was satisfied with the rods I then used a 6-32 dies to cut the threads on the rod ends. Started with the right inboard first, then the left in board, followed by the the right and left outboard tension rods. Attached rods using washers and nuts as indicated. Placed some tube cushions in a couple spots to prevent the rods from chafing on the engine.
Also cut pieces of air seal fabric and attached to the baffles with blinds rivets. Got all pieces place except the far forward pieces on either side pending final contour after upper cowl ramps are installed.
