Brief Description:  Primer lines and baffling

Took a break from the wiring today. Didn't get to work on anything yesterday because I was under the weather. Received the stainless steel braided hoses from TS Flightlines yesterday for the primer system, they're really nice. Replaced the adapters in the cylinders with the stainless steel ones I got, that were also a little larger to fit the #3 hoses. I ordered the hoses just barely long enough but they will work fine. I would have like one extra inch on each. Swapped the line from cylinder 1 with the line from the tee back to the baffle as it provided a better fit, luckily. Located and driled the hole in the rear baffle for the pass through fitting and installed the fitting. The hose between the gascolator and the solenoud is an inch too long and won't work. I may have to stick with the copper tubing. I emailed Tom Searengen to ask to have this redone if possible. I also need the tee and three more adapters as they are a little larger than the ones used for the copper system so I ordered those from Tom. I worked on the baffles a little more. Re-installed the top skin the flywheel, the prop extension, rear spinner plate, and the spinner. Trimmed the baffles several times to get a rough fit. Will have to use the paperclip procedure next time out in the garage. Not a great day in the garage but another step forward.
