Brief Description:  Battery, alternator, shunt, starter wiring

Purchased the battery this week and dropped it into the holder and bolted it down. Re-routed the starter wiring from the right side of the engine to the left side. The length of the cable was perfect, it was actually a little short via the right side routing which made me uncomfortable and why I decided to re-route. Left side made more sense and I got lucky on the length. I also purchased the ammeter shunt and the ANL fuse between the alternator and switched side of the battery contactor. Located the shunt and fuse and drilled the holes in the firewall. Bolted in both. Determined the length of the b lead cable for the alternator and cut to size and crimped on the lugs. Attached the cable to the alternator and the ANL fuse holder, also secured the cable in two places along its length. Fabricated the connection cable between the ANL fuse and the shunt, crimped on the lugs and attached. Determined length of cable between shunt and switched side of the battery contactor and fabricated the cable. Bolted on cable. Finally, fabricated the cable that goes between the battery and the battery contactor and connected it after crimping on the lugs.
