Brief Description:  Sanded, add fiberglass layers, air scoop

Sanded the layer of fiberglass I laid in last week, tried to get it as close to final shape before adding next layers of fiberglass. During the week I ordered 6" fiberglass tape from ACS to do final layers of fiberglass, Applied two more layers of 6" wide fiberglass tape, Added one strip per side and then applied a small piece to go over the doghouse and meet up with the strips on either side. Did that for both layers. In retrospect I wish I had started with the 6"wide strips instead of the 3" strips, but I thought at the time that would be easier to manipulate over the gap. Oh well, it turned out alright. Turned my attention to the airscoop, which I hadn't looked at for several weeks. Chipped out the foam block used to get the shape of the tunnel. I then added a reinforcing piece of fiberglass where the tunnel meets the front of the scoop. I then added two more layers of fiberglass around the outside of the tunnel to strengthen it. Lastly, I poured in some resin at the intersection of the tunnel and intake to strengthen ever further.
