Brief Description:  D-sub connectors/Roll Servo wiring

Did my first D-sub connectors today using my new Daniels "Big Blue" Crimper. Tried using the smaller Daniels crimper but somehow couldn't get it to work right. First I removed the roll servo from the right wing which I had temporarily mounted. After watching a Youtube video on using the Daniels crimper I went at it. I first crimped the female pins onto the servo wires and then inserted them into the D-sub connector using the install tool. I then crimped on the male pins onto the Dynon servo wiring harness I had purchased. I then inserted the male pins into the male D-sub connector. I trial fit both connectors and they worked great. I then installed the shells onto both connectors. I then re-installed the roll servo for permanent installation and safety wired the bolts as well as putting some torque seal on them. I then tied the servo harness bundle up using lacing cord. Didn't really have to do that since it is going through conduit but did it any way to make things neater. I then fished the harness through the conduit. I determined where I wanted to support the D-sub connectors and drilled some a hole for a zip tie. I connected the D-sub connectors and zip tied them to the rib. I also zip tied it in ine other place using a hole I had for the previous BM servo I de-installed. Packed up my spinner to send to Catto props because he offered to fit it to the prop I just ordered from him. Good day in the garage, I'm happy.
