More gear well preparation. Shaped and installed phelolic spacer. Insured a nominal spacing of 1/4 inch around wheel opening. It is a little tight on the pilots side but Scott Swing said it should be ok. In order for the tire to go up further into the wheel well, I removed some lower skin of the upper strake along with some foam until a little upper skin was exposed. The outside edge of the tire now just touches the upper skin that was exposed. The resulting indentation is somewhat moon shaped to fit the tire as it goes further into the gear well. See photos
