Cut triax per manual for layups over MG knurled alumminum bushings. Put cabo/micro baloon fillet on all protrududing bushings/shims. Glassed bushings on forward side of gear bulkhead. Defered glassing aft side of firewall until I can get clarification of placement of 4 X 7 triax.
Put fillets and one ply of 4 X 4 triax over 4 bushings between firewall and gear bulkhead. Will later grind off triax over bushing. This was done primarily for asthetics, however, it also adds some strength to the structure.
Fabricated gear sockets by putting duct tape over gear legs, then laying 3 plys of triax over duct tape.
