Cleaned up yesterday's work. Drilled 1/8" holes as before and trimmed flange to 1.5".
Fabricated a 5 bid flange attached to upper cowl for a cowl-to-cowl flange.
Started with nose cover. Sanded a paint stick to form a lengthwise wedge. Hot glued this under the aft opening of the nose cover. Fabricated a 5 bid flange to the nose cover onto the wedge installed earlier. This "wedge" is intended to make removal and replacement of the nose compartment easier.
