Worked on installing the lower aileron torque tube. Found that I had cut the tube about ¼ inch too short because of the fact that the rear bracket had an intentional angle designed into it. As per the manual, I used a spacer (which was actually the ¼ inch piece I cut off) to insure the lower tube was tight against the front and aft bearing. After installing and removing the tube many times, I drilled the hole to mate it with the aft bell crank. Reinstalled and it looks good. Waiting word from Velocity before I install the pushrod between upper and lower tubes. Pics 1899-1901.
