Split the cowling. Made a new cut line form the trailing edge of the wing to about 2" below he midpoint of the exhaust holes. Removed both cowling halves. Prepped halves for flanges. Temporarily relocated aileron control hardware. Reattached lower cowl and layed up 5 bid flanges inside the cowl to the lower wing on both sides. Reinforced inside of upper cowl with 6 bid accross the aft gap and 4 bid accross the side gaps.
