Completed bondoing on strips of divinicel under the aft lip of forward part of upper cowl. Sanded all cowling parts where glass was to be layed up. Reinstalled cowl. Placed aft part on and tilted it down such that the center hole matched up with the spinner backplate. Trimmed the aft spinner hole. The aft part of the forward part was supported by the strips of divinicel attached earlier. Used weights, clamps, and bondo to secure all this into position. Filled the 2 inch gap between the 2 parts with fast west micro and glassed with 3 bid.
Bondoed paint sticks accross the gap of the upper and lower halves inside cowling. Closed the gap between the paint sticks with metal tape. Layed up 2 bid across this gap.
While waiting for the fast west to cure, I secured some of the wireing under the panel.
