Brief Description:  Enging Mount and Cowling

Started day by flipping airplane upright. Went real easy.

Received TCM IO-550-N engine from Western Skyways. SN 917619. Mounted engine on Velocity supplied engine mount using Berry Mount 94001--1, AN7-36A bolts, locknut, and locking tabs. Modified locking tab slightly so that tab would fit through Berry supplied washer and into mount securing it in place. Mounted upper and lower cowling. The 2 inch increase in fuselage height results in these cowlings being 2 inches apart. We will set the bottom cowling standard and then tilt the upper cowling down only one inch. This is because the intake manifold of the TCM usually requires the upper cowling be raised an inch. The other inch to make he cowlings meet will be handled by cutting the aft 6 inches of top cowling off and refabrication it 1 inch lower.
