Plastic panel mockup arrived from Aerotronics to check for fit and depth. I found out there was insufficient depth behind panel for my layout. This could be resolved by lowering panel 1 1/4 inch to get away from the curvature of the upper nose area. I always had a feeling panel was too high anyway so I had no problem doing this. The layout will not have to change execpt we might be able to make some improvements on the edges since there will be a little more room there. I gave Aerotronics the go ahead to start fabrication. They will send my fiberglass panel back to me so that I can make the minor modifications required by lowering it. I will actually have to add material to the edges.
