Brief Description:  overhead "instrument" panel

I decided to forgo the overhead instrument panel and instead extend the carbon beam across the upper edge of the windscreen creating more of a secure "roll cage". After preping the area, I laid down 2 layers of carbon uni accross the top. I them micro slurried a piece of 1/4 in foam and epoxied it onto the uni. I weighed it down while curing to comform with the shape of the top of the fuselage.
