Installed seat back to plates using 1/4-20 screws. Modified plate slightly by shaping forwared edge to comform better to forward edge of seat pan. Placed assembled seat in airplane with layers of divinicel and other foam to simulate various thickness of padding. Sat in seat to determine suitability of position with respect to view over glareshield and head height. View over glareshield is fine. I still have some concern about head room but I think it is going to be ok with a thin seat bottom cushion.
