Switched out old 49# gas door springs for 34# gas springs. Lighter springs allowed doors to fit much better with plenty of pressure to hold door up. Took all shims out of hinges (except for hinge alignment). Doors still not perfect. Decided to put this aside for a while. Will keep doors closed as much as possible to allow them to take a "set". May also reinforce the hinge points later. Increased weight on doors (strakes, panels, etc) may also help.
