Spent a good deal of time making fiberglass forms for airplane to sit on. Used 5 layers of Triax. Also built sawhorses. Installed Canard and leveled airplane with the canard as primary reference. Talked to Scott Swing. He said canard was installed with a slightly positive (nose up). The fuselage was deemed to be level when a level on the canard jig showed the bubble next to the forward line. This equates to the canard having about 0.2 deg positive incidence.
The left-right levelness was determined by measuring the levelness at various points on the canard and averaging them out. It was also verified by putting a level across the premolded gear pockets. Things matched up nicely.
Bondoed 2 small levels on left side of keel near pilots feet to check for levelnes in future
