Despite cold weather (29 F), warmed up engine and balanced carbs.
Began with mechanical balancing and then used vacuum gages to balance the carbs pneumatically. Needed to make three different adjustments, but was able to match them up perfectly. Idle was set to about 1,800 RPM.
Also ran engine up to WOT and hit 4,930 RPM exactly which is within the spec. All and all a great day.
