Brief Description: Installed most of SkyView Avionics
Incredibly productive day installing the avionics. Only started around lunch time and finished most of the section 42C install.
First installed the Power and Switch Module in the panel. Used this opportunity to drill the panel and install the autopilot disconnect button and wiring per section 44A-05.
Connected the Control Module switches with the WH-00031 wire harness. Installed the SL-40-12 Radio Tray and then the Garmin Radio itself. Installed WV50000A Autopilot harness. Installed the Transponder & WH-00029 harness.
Under the plane installed the AV-00008 Comm. Antenna also the AV-22 Transponder Antenna with Spencer's help.
Installed both the Ignition/Start Panel and the SkyView Screen itself into the panel as well as the corresponding wire harnesses.
Began working on the ELT remote and intercom contol into the panel and got confused about the ELT install. Evenually figured that out but called it a day. All in all a very productive afternoon. What a well designed system. Almost feel guilty for how much of the avionics I've installed in just an afternoon.
