Brief Description: Applied resin/flox mixture to wing tip extensions
Moved foreward with the addition of the resin/flox mixture to the L/R wing tip extensions.
Didn't like the ues of hairspray as the mold reslease as the test I did yesterday failed. The resin/flox mixture I applied to some test aluminum pieces could not be removed this morning. So much for the EAA hints for homebuilders suggestion. I went out and bought some mold release from a local arts supply story and applied two coats to the wing tip. However, I still didn't have a lot of confidence that it would work, so I used a white crayon and applied wax to all the places on the wing that that would be touched by the resin. So I'll find out tomorrow or the next day if the wing tip extension can be removed from the wing!
