While I had delayed getting to this, in order to make room in my garage to work on the right wing skins and also allow my wife to get her car into the garage sooner, I took the day to build the EAA standard wing stand.
Not a difficult project, but did take longer than I had expected. Needed about $50 of supplies, but recycled some of the shipping crate material where I could. All the cutout plywood pieces (18 of them I think) needed to be measured and cut out. I also used both screws and carpenter's glue on every joint to strengthen it. Put 2 1/2" castors on it so it moves smoothly around the floor. Very pleased with result and it holds my almost fully completed left wing very well.
