Brief Description:  Riveted bottom and side skins on tailcone

Great night. Hillary helped cleco the side skins to the bottom skin assembly and we riveted the bottom of the tailcone together. Fit was excellent - no significant issues. About half of the 4-3 rivets didn't fit into the holes without significant force so I used a drill bit to clean out several of the holes as we moved around the assembly.

Expect it to be close to 100 degrees during the day tomorrow so I'm not sure I'll get back into workshop until the weekend. Still waiting on the replacement hinge from Vans.

Project-to-date, I'm just over 94 hours of build time. Putting in time several nights a week for a few hours, really seems to keep the project moving along. I'm really pleased with the steady progress.

So, all and all a very satisfying day - pictures say a thousand words!
